MAJOR NETWORK Television Class - 3 Weeks with Clint Alexander, Director of Casting, Major Television Network
Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 7:00pm
Here's your chance to work with the Director of East Coast Casting for a Major TELEVISION NETWORK!
Designed specifically for the ADVANCED actor, in 3 weeks you'll enhance your on-camera audition technique specific to television as well as delving into the business side of what TRULY goes on before, during and after a casting session at the Network level. Whether you're auditioning for an episodic or pilot, this class will teach you the things you need to know that can help you get the callback and then book the job.
The 1st week, you will start off with a Q&A. Next, Clint will have a "mock" general meeting with each actor individually at which time you will showcase a Contemporary Monologue to assist Clint in selecting appropriate material specifically for you. Weeks #2 and #3, you will have prepared a scene (1/2 hour comedy and 1 hour episodic) which will have been given to you on day in advance, and Clint will work with each actor in a pre-read/simulated audition scenario, giving adjustments, feedback, suggestions and constructive criticism which will impact your approach toward audition material.
For the first class, please prepare a Contemporary Monologue 2 minutes or less in length. In addition, upload your headshot and resume in your online account upon registration.
***Scenes will be recorded on-camera. As a courtesy, your video clips will be made available to you within a week. An email notification will be sent when the clips are available to view and download from your Actors Connection account. Please note: from time to time technical issues do occur, as a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.***
In addition to the NUMEROUS series he works on, Clint worked on all pilots at this Network for PILOT SEASON 2019 and is casting for the FALL TELEVISION SEASON.
Recent projects include: The Resident, The Passage, Proven Innocent, The Cool Kids, The Orville and numerous other NETWORK projects.
