With constant rave reviews from our AC actors, here's your opportunity to get to work with one of the partners from McCorkle Casting - one of the top NY casting offices for Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater as well as film and TV.

Jeffrey, who works with his wife and casting partner, Pat McCorkle, have cast together for over 100 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows as well as numerous Regional Theatre seasons including: Guthrie Theatre, Barrington Stage Company, Baltimore Center Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Contemporary American Theatre Festival, George Street Theatre, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Theatreworks Hartford, and Connecticut Repertory Theatre.

Our new 4 week Theatre Masterclass is for the Advanced Theatre Actor. Over the 4 week course, Jeffrey will help you find the right material as well as prep you for a "mock" callback. Each class will build onto the next with Jeffery working with you each step of the way.

Class 1: Monologues (Bring in a prepared monologue of choice)

Class 2: Scene with reader (Bring in your own prepared theatre scene)

Class 3: Jeff will assign a scene based off of your work in the previous classes and works on the scenes with a reader

Class 4: "Callback": (Students are paired with each other for final callback with the scene)

You'll leave this class with confidence and a new understanding of how to get more callbacks and more book roles in theater.

Jeffrey Dreisbach

Jeffrey Dreisbach, a seasoned Casting Director and esteemed partner at McCorkle Casting, Ltd., possesses a keen eye for identifying talent in emerging actors.

His remarkable abilities have played a pivotal role in the success of the casting company, responsible for over 100 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, 65 feature films, and numerous television shows.

Prior to transitioning to casting, Jeff enjoyed a prolific two-decade-long career as an actor, showcasing his versatility in theatre, film, television, commercials, and voiceovers. Notably, he made his mark on Broadway with an impressive 500 performances as Lt. Kendrick in Aaron Sorkin's production of "A Few Good Men." His film credits include roles in "Splash," "Die Hard 3," and "The Thomas Crowne Affair," and he also portrayed Norman Van Buren in the NBC soap opera "Another World."

Drawing from his extensive experience on both sides of the audition process, Jeff now dedicates his expertise to helping actors navigate and advance their careers. His passion lies in assisting actors finding their confidence with auditions. He addresses technical challenges, acting choices, and reshapes the actors' perspectives on the audition process. Current offerings at Actors Connection include "Self-tape Workshops" and "Stage to Screen" classes.

Jeffrey Dreisbach extends his influence beyond workshops by hosting the popular podcast "Casting Actors Cast," boasting over 100,000 downloads. Additionally, his workbook/manual, "Conversation Pieces Out of the Studio," designed to guide actors to success in voiceovers, is a required reading in Acting BFA and MFA programs nationwide.
