Prerequisite: Must have taken previous on-camera classes

In this 4 Week INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED on-camera class, you'll work on fine-tuning your on-camera technique for Pilots,Television Series and Films.

You'll be working on camera with extensive feedback. Lorrie will give you all of the behind-the-scenes info on what you can do in the room to feel confident about your on-camera/taped auditions.

You will work on:

• Examining the text and learn what to look for when reading your sides. Understanding subtext, beats, and transitions

• Eye Lines (where to look) how to project your voice, emotions, and physicality

• Breaking down “sides” and scripts to create a believable character

• Taking redirection

• Thinking the character’s thoughts so dialogue sounds fully alive

• Scene study, interacting with other actors, listening and responding,

• Being in the moment for multiple takes, improvisations and exercises to improve your technique

 

Lorrie Odom is a Howard University graduate and has been an actress in NYC for the past 20 years. She is currently recurring on HULU's original series SHUT EYE, Season 2 opposite star Isabella Rossellini and can currently be seen on NETFLIX in the film KINGS opposite Oscar Winner Halle Berry.

Lorrie's upcoming Films Include: ISN'T IT ROMANTIC opposite Rebel Wilson, BUFFALOED opposite Zoey Deutch, and BODY CAM opposite Mary J. Blige.
