You ace the audition, then a callback - now learn how to book the "director session" this Pilot Season in LOS ANGELES in our special one-night only class taught by Lindsey Copeland, Film & TV Director/Writer and Producer.
Lindsey recently wrote, directed and produced the feature film “Hedgehog” starring Madeline Brewer and Ann Dowd from the Emmy Award winning series “The Handmaid's Tale” as well as the feature comedy "Girls Night".

Each year, major American broadcast television networks like ABC, CBS, The CW, FOX, NBC, etc. – cast for their new TV shows, also known as "pilots".
Train with Lindsey and focus on your performance during the final stages of casting: the directors session, while learning about the busiest season for directors like Lindsey.
Students will be recorded ON-CAMERA and video clips will be made available after class. Actors are encouraged to playback each clip, consider the instructors feedback and evaluate your progress. Clips can be accessed online through your profile at actorsconnection.com and will be posted one-week following the class date.
Instructor Lesson Plan
Students will prepare TV/film sides of their choice in advance and present on-camera in a class room setting with a reader. Lindsey will provide feedback and/or redirects whenever possible, plus an in-depth Q&A to answer questions.
***Sides are available through your Actors Connection account upon registration. You also have the option to bring in your own 2-3 page scene. Please remember to bring an extra copy of your chosen sides for the reader.***

Lindsey Copeland, Director/Writer & Producer
Lindsey Copeland is a director/writer and producer based in Los Angeles. Following ten years working on films in London and New York, she made the move to the west coast following the completion of her feature film “Hedgehog” starring Madeline Brewer and Ann Dowd from the Emmy Award winning series “The Handmaid's Tale”. Hedgehog was released in early 2017 where it won several awards including Best Director and Best Actress at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. The film went on to win best feature film at the Los Angeles Indie Film Festival and was purchased by Toronto based distributor Syndicado. It is now streaming on VOD, as well as iTunes, Amazon Prime, and other streaming services. Additional credits include the indie feature comedy "Girls Night" as well as several short films. She is currently writing a new independent feature film and continues to freelance as a producer and director.
