Judy is a fabulous CD that casts for film, television and theater and recently called in FIVE actors she met in her last seminar.

Casting in New York City since 1993, her recent film casting includes: ELI MORAN, GOLD STAR, MICHIGAN, THE INHERITED, DYNAMITE: A CAUTIONARY TALE, COPENHAGEN, THE WORD & TIGER LILY ROAD. Recent short films: DINNER@40, LOVE LIFE, FISH, & BIG.

She has associate-produced several independent features, and was the NY Casting Associate on SHORTBUS, NOWHERE TO GO BUT UP and worked on SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE and MEAN GIRLS. She worked as the NY Casting Director for Carsey-Werner in the 1990s, working on such TV series as MEN BEHAVING BADLY, GRACE UNDER FIRE, and THAT 70S SHOW. She also cast audiobooks for Simon & Schuster from 1996-2001. Casting on Broadway and off, she currently casts for the Mint Theater Company, LONDON WALL(Drama Desk and Lortel nominations). BAUER is currently playing at 59E59, transferred from San Francisco Playhouse. She also works with Scandinavian American Theater Company, Your Name Here: A Queer Theater Company, LAByrinth Theater Company, Partial Comfort, Project Y. Regional work includes Humana Festival, Woolly Mammoth, San Francisco Playhouse, Kitchen Theatre, & Dorset Theatre Festival. She is a producer on BILLY & RAY(Vineyard Theatre/dir. Garry Marshall). She is an adjunct Asst. Professor at Columbia University Film School's MFA program, and is a former faculty member at Harlem School of the Arts.
