Lauren has been at MelCap Casting since May of 2009 and was recently promoted to associate casting director! Current Broadway includes: Grace and the upcoming Dead Accounts and Orphans. Past Broadway: Death of a Salesman, Seminar, Stick Fly, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, The House of Blue Leaves, Lend Me a Tenor, and Fences. For Second Stage she has worked on: Lonely, I'm Not, How I Learned to Drive, The Blue Flower, All New People, The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, Trust, Wildflower, Year Zero, Bachelorette, Wings, Gruesome Playground Injuries, By The Way Meet Vera Stark, The Bad Guys, Sex Lives of our Parents, The Talls, Warrior Class, and the upcoming Modern Terrorism...
Other NYC shows she has worked on: 2012 – 2013 Season for The Old Globe, Disgraced (Upcoming, LCT3), On the Levee (LCT3); The Urban Dictionary Plays, Now Circa Then and Be A Good Little Widow (Ars Nova); 10x25, OOHRAH! Dusk Rings a Bell, and the upcoming Bluebird (Atlantic). Regional: Tales of the City (ACT), Prometheus Bound (ART), The Williamstown Theatre Festival (2009/2010 seasons); Sweet Bird of Youth, The Good Negro, The Sins of Sor Juana, and MARY (Goodman); Long Day's Journey Into Night, The Light in the Piazza, Quality of Life, At Home At The Zoo (Arena Stage). Casting associate on "Steel Magnolias" (Sony for Lifetime). She has assisted on the feature films "Love and Other Drugs" and "Blue Valentine". Lauren also casts many of MelCap's voice over projects. Independently, Lauren has cast FanBoy and Joan: 316 for The ExtraPulp Ensemble as well as readings of The Bird and the Two Ton Weight in connection with Syracuse University. Lauren holds a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University.
