Stephanie Cowan is a Casting Associate at Michael Cassara Casting, where she and the team have cast over 400 musicals, plays, and film projects since the company was founded in 2003.

Her recent casting director credits include the Drama League DirectorFest and the world premiere of Veil'd by Monet Hurst-Mendoza. Stephanie is a New York based producer, casting director, and dramaturg who specializes in cultivating new works for film, television, and stage.

Most recently, she was an Associate Producer on the Broadway production of Amélie, which she helped develop from its early stages in her role as Director of Development for Triptyk Studios, where she was on staff from 2008-2017. During her tenure at Triptyk, the company produced many projects, including the NY Times Critic's Pick My Daughter Keeps Our Hammer, the Broadway and US touring productions of Xanadu, 12-time Tony-nominated Broadway, National Tour and West End productions of An American in Paris, Will Ferrell's You're Welcome America and the Broadway and Netflix hit comedy, Oh, Hello.

Ms. Cowan also had a hand in developing many other upcoming projects, including the television series 'Freedom Run' with Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones, and 'Big Dead Place' for Entertainment One. Ms. Cowan has served as judge for the New York Musical Festival, as well as a selection committee member for the NAMT Festival of New Musicals from 2012-2014, with whom she continues to consult every year.
