Michael's history as an agent began 14 years ago at the esteemed offices of Hartig/Hilepo and DGRW and then built and ran UGLY Talent NY. THE ROSTER has talent working on Broadway has talent working on Broadway in Book of Mormon, On Your Feet, Gotta Dance, Aladdin, Beautiful, Curious Dog, just to name a few Michael also has clients on the WEST END in Aladdin and Mack and Mable. . In addition, Michael represents numerous clients currently working in Film/TV on Law & Order: SVU, Person of Interest, The Good Wife, Orange is the New Black, CSI, Elementary, Blue Bloods, Boardwalk Empire, Madame Secretary, and The Blacklist.

Michael Rodriguez
Michael W. Rodriguez is the owner and head of talent at THE ROSTER AGENCY. Michael’s history as an agent started at Hartig/Hilepo and includes time at DGRW. He then launched and ran the legit division of an internationally franchised talent company before founding The Roster Agency in 2008.
The Roster’s clients can be seen in theatres all around the world as well as on Broadway in Aladdin, Book of Mormon, TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, Harry Potter, Hamilton and internationally on London’s West End with starring roles in Aladdin, Mack & Mable and The Prince of Egypt.
Additionally, The Roster has an ever-expanding presence on TV and in Film as seen with a series-regulars on Comedy Central’s “Awkwafina is Nora From Queens”, and “Sesame Street” and most recently a Principal booking on a soon to be released PIXAR animated feature! Other TV successes include client’s appearances on Pose, Madame Secretary, New Amsterdam, The Equalizer, FBI, Law & Order’s, Blue Bloods, Blacklist, & Gotham among others.
Michael is known for cultivating Broadway’s up and coming stars and is well established in TV/Film on both coasts. He began his career at Atlantic Records in New York City in 1990 after receiving his BFA in Theatre from Southwest Texas State University. As a Product Manager for Atlantic, he worked on albums for Mick Jagger, Bette Midler, Hootie and The Blowfish, Stone Temple Pilots, Tori Amos Jewel, Everything But The Girl and Phil Collins among others. He was featured in Billboard Magazine for his excellence in niche marketing for the album “Sensual Classics”. In the Fall of 1996, he founded MWR, ink. This independent record promotions company serviced many accounts including Celine Dion and Lonnie Gordon. In 1999 Michael joined Indie giant TVT Records as Promotion Department Manager and worked with artists Snoop Dogg, Nine Inch Nails and Lil’ John.
Michael does Master Classes at NYU, Tisch, Stone Street, Pace, Belmont, and Shenandoah University. In addition to being a talent agent, he has also been a judge for the Miss Universe Pageants for North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana, with one Miss USA winner in 2005!
