Matthew Glasner graduated from Ball State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. After discovering his passion for casting, Matthew began pursuing a career full-time interning at various institutions such as Steppenwolf Theatre Co., Telsey+Co, and Manhattan Theatre Club. Upon receiving an incredible education through those various internships, Matthew worked as an assistant at Innovative Artists Talent Agency and now works full-time at Barden Schnee Casting.
Currently, they are casting: the feature films Tomato Red (directed by Juanita Wilson) and The Great White Way (Directed by John Tiffany), Hand of God (Amazon Series) and an Untitled TV Series.
Recent projects include: PITCH PERFECT 2 directed by Elizabeth Banks (THE HUNGER GAMES, THE LEGO MOVIE, PITCH PERFECT), AUGUST OSAGE COUNTY (starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts), DALLAS BUYERS CLUB (starring Matthew McConaughey), STILL ALICE (starring Julianne Moore), PRISONERS (starring Hugh Jackman), and Central's sketch comedy show INSIDE AMY SCHUMER.
Matt is currently interested in meeting actors of all ages (18+), all types and ethnicities.

Since working in casting full-time, Matthew has had the privilege of being on the casting team for Film Projects such as the Academy-Award Winning Film, ‘Spotlight’, Wes Anderson’s ’The French Dispatch’, M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Old’ and upcoming ‘Knock at the Cabin’, and the newly released ‘Armageddon Time’ and upcoming Noah Baumbach Film, ‘White Noise’.
On the TV side, Matthew has collaborated on HBOMax’s ‘The Staircase’ & ‘Scenes from a Marriage’, Amazon’s ‘Outer Range’, Seasons 2-4 of ‘Servant’ and Seasons 2-4 of 'The Sinner'.
When working independently, Matthew has cast numerous Short Films and full-length features: ‘Braid' (TriBeCa Film Festival 2018), ’Safe’ (Short) (Cannes 2021), 'Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate', and ‘Milkwater' starring Molly Bernard.
