This class is BY Julie's approval ONLY, so if you are interested, please submit your request NOW! Designed for the actor who has studied with Julie previously, or a current AEA, SAG-AFTRA member, Julie is ready to take you to that next level! One of the busiest casting offices in NYC, Julie currently casts for The Michael J. Fox Show, Nurse Jackie, The Following, and White Collar.

You'll learn audition techniques specific to this area of television. Whether you're auditioning for an episodic or pilot, this class will teach you the things you need to know that can help you to get the call-back and then the job. The 1st week, you will have prepared a scene given to you a day in advance based on your headshot/resume submission. You will find out immediately if your materials "represent" what you are trying to market from a Casting Director's perspective. Week #2 you'll be working on a scene chosen for you based on your work in week one. This class is an extraordinary opportunity to work with an amazing Emmy WINNING CD with credits including Rescue Me, NYC 22, Canterbury's Law for Fox, Nurse Jackie, Last of The Ninth (Pilot for HBO) and many more.

When submitting for this class - PLEASE make sure you are also available on TUESDAY, AUGUST 20th at 7:00pm as a make up date in case Julie has a casting emergency!

Julie is interested in meeting ADVANCED actors of all types and ethnicities 18+ for her numerous upcoming projects.

Both sessions are ON CAMERA for educational purposes.

Julie is a Two Time Emmy Winner and seven-time nominee. She has been recognized with five Artios Awards and has been nominated over a dozen times.

Current/recent projects include: Hunters (Amazon), Designated Survivor (Netflix), The Affair (Showtime), The Expanse (Amazon), Lincoln (NBC), and The Baker and The Beauty (ABC).  Past Projects include: ERASE, TELL ME A STORY, SNEAKY PETE, THE VILLAGE, LIMITLESS, THE FOLLOWING, WHITE COLLAR, DAMAGES, NURSE JACKIE, RESCUE ME, BIG C, IN TREATMENT, THE AMERICANS, TRUE BLOOD, HOMELAND, DEXTER and many more. Prior to starting Tucker/Meyerson Casting, Julie cast LAW & ORDER: SVU, SIX FEET UNDER (NY Casting) and DEADWOOD (NY Casting). Julie was on staff at the Roundabout Theater as a Casting Director working on A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE with Allison Janney, A FLEA IN HER EAR directed by Bill Irwin, and the world premiere of IMPOSSIBLE MARRIAGE with Holly Hunter. Her other theater credits include casting for Williamstown Theatre Festival, Manhattan Theatre Club, and The Vineyard. Prior to casting, Julie directed Off-Broadway and assisted directors Terrence Malick and Martin Charnin.
