"If you see a class that Mel Mack is teaching.....run, (don't walk) as fast as you can and sign up. Her kindness, her enthusiasm and her insightful technique to breaking down TV & film sides is so amazing....you will leave the room thinking, "OMG. I can book this stuff!") This may sound corny coming from a New Yorker, but I've met a lot of acting coaches....and I've never met one like Mel Mack." -C. Hope Belmont

"I just wanted to touch base and let you know I had a fantastic time last Thursday! Seriously, classes normally don't STICK with me the way this one did. We had great energy in that room, and I love that we were able to work in such a practical and advanced matter. I got cast in a "small" role the day after your class as an Inn Clerk that shot on Tuesday, and honestly, the class came just in time! You reminded me the true meaning of "There are no small roles" as long as you make them your own and make bigger choices! I had SO much fun with my 3 scenes by making so many of my environmental factors a huge deal. It was great and it took the stress out of worrying about trivial actor mind things. Anyway, THANK YOU for your honesty, inspiration and grounding class! It was just what I needed." -Casey McDougal

"Mel Mack puts me on the spot in class in such a supportive way that is easy to make strong choices. Since she has been on both sides of the camera, she is compassionate towards actors and teaches an essential audition technique to make casting directors your biggest fan! Mel has a is down to earth and compassionate, so I was comfortable trying new things. She was animated and quick to motivate me to work hard in class. She also gave me invaluable tools to walk into an audition with confidence! -Amanda Kwolyk

"Mel, you were so open and honest with me in my coaching -- we had just met and within a few minutes, we were calling me out on my shit, helping me dig deeper and giving my confidence in my performance. It was a pleasure to work with you!" -Jonah Platt

"The Mel Mack acting studio teaches you how to work with material that's been written by working screenplay writers, break-down scripts, and get the experience of auditioning in front of the camera. It's freeing yourself to play in front of the camera and not be in your head. Mel teaches you how to walk in with confidence, slate your name like a pro and owning the room. Highly recommended for anyone who is pursuing a professional film and TV career. Long live your actions with thoughts!" -Pedro Morillo

"While sharing her knowledge and skills with you, Mel manages to walk humbly and confidently with you in your work. Learning from Mel feels like learning from a friend -- a friend who just happens to be able to observe you clearly, guide you ably and help you get more work as an actor. Since attending Mel's classes I have used techniques and ideas she's shared with me in every audition and performance I've had, on-stage and on-camera. I recommend Mel for anyone looking for an ego-free zone to stretch their skills and have fun doing it." -Parisa Fitz-Henley
