Submitting a new show idea to a network is called "pitching." There are certain things that go into making the perfect pitch, but the most difficult part of pitching may be finding someone who will listen to your great idea at all. If you want to learn how to pitch a TV show idea, then don't miss this informative evening on how to do just that!

With a background in casting hit shows for several cable television channels, Lande will teach you what it takes to brand show ideas and get the attention of TV Networks. Her insider's perspective from years of experience offers the perfect recipe needed in making you prepared to deal with today's television climate.

Lande Yoosuf is a television industry professional with several years of experience casting at numerous networks including MTV, NBC, WEtv, truTV, Bravo to name a few. Lande Yoosuf oversees all aspects of casting and production at One Scribe Media (www.onescribemedia.com) with a strong emphasis on story composition. She also facilitates workshops or consults anyone in need of guidance for pitching television programming. Her responsibilities help to ensure that her client's creative goals, vision and needs are met while keeping with One Scribe Media's expressed brand.

In addition to her work with One Scribe, Lande has a strong commitment to giving back. She mentors students aspiring to work in the media industry and frequently speaks publicly to youth about her professional journey. Lande is currently writing a book with the help of renowned college administrators, professors and best selling authors covering themes of media influence, sociology, gender and race relations, pop culture, women's empowerment and self image. Ultimately, Lande hopes to contribute to women's increased control, ownership, and management of media by writing and producing a series of television shows. Lande graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Television and a minor in marketing. She resides in Brooklyn, New York.
