Make the most out of every commercial audition with this top commercial duo who will teach you how to make bold commercial choices and improve your "show" business savy!

Each class will start with a Q&A where they will discuss the business of the business and how it relates to your experiences and how to maximize yourself. They will also be getting you up and on camera using improv techniques with some Meisner discipline thrown in. The first four weeks, David and Rebecca will alternate teaching and in the final class they will teach together.

David will start your first class where he'll speak about the auditioning process: the rules, regulations, SAG/AFTRA, etc. He will also cover common misnomers, pet peeves and how to find the 'professional' in you. Next you'll be on-camera beginning with single copy, learning how to quickly assess copy to make it fun and relatable.

In week two, Rebecca will start off discussing the agent aspect to the business and how to maximize your time in front of an industry professional. He'll help you to understand your type, perception and where you fit in. He will also talk about how questions can help you nail an audition. Rebecca will work on single copy and will look at how to make BOLD choices and how to incorporate that in to your audition. He will also work with you on spokesman and testimonial approaches to the copy.

In your third week, David will lead a discussion on how you're doing and what are you doing out there in the business. He will begin working with you and a partner on duo copy where you'll learn how to hang on to your own POV despite your partner. She'll continue working with you on making BOLD choices within the copy and utilizing improv technique.

Week four is back with Rebecca where she'll continue the discussion on the business of the business. She'll speak about Real People Casting and how to make you into a viable "real person". On-camera, Rebecca will work on duo copy, pharmaceutical copy and Real People auditioning.

Your final week will be with both David and Rebecca where they will go over your audition style, give feedback on your headshot and resume stuff and how to sell you! Together they will take you through Rapid Fire auditioning that will get you to make BOLD/SMART marketable choices fast.

David is Head of the Adult Commercial Department for Jordan, Gill & Dornbaum. An agent for the past 18 years, he is currently scouting for new faces. He is looking for all types and all ages. He has clients in commercials for: AT&T, MCDONALD'S, BANK OF AMERICA, ADIDAS, FOOTLOCKER, VISA, PIZZA HUT, J&R MUSIC, VERIZON, DOMINICO'S, WALMART, GARDASIL, and many more. A former actor, David has been teaching and coaching actors for over 15 years here in New York City and across the country.

Rebecca Yarsin casts national and regional commercials(both on-camera and V/O) and industrials as well as hosts for TV entertainment programs. Formerly a theatrical CD for Broadway and Off Broadway, she really has an eye for talent and loves trained actors! Some of her current clients include Apple, ESPN, Actonel, Campbell's, Progresso, Bank of America, Charles Schwab, Dove, Wendy's, Time Warner, Cablevision, Verizon, Clean and Clear, Microsoft, HP, Walmart, Hersheys, Secret and Mastercard. She's interested in meeting All Types-All Ages (18+) for their many upcoming projects.
