4 Week AC SHOWCASE with Eve Battaglia, CSA, Casting Director, Eve Battaglia Casting

Here's your opportunity to perfect scene study and acting skills with a final showcase of your work to 3 of New York's top agents and/or personal managers with indie film casting director Eve Battaglia!

For your first class, you'll perform your best monologue for Eve and then be cast into a scene from her files for your showcase. In the second week, you'll be coached in the rehearsal/scene study process working on acting, blocking and taking direction with your scene with your partner. Week 3 has you fine tuning scenes with Eve leading to the final week showcase where you'll perform for the industry panel.

This class is for SERIOUS actors wanting to learn the valuable process of breaking down scenes, rehearsal strategies and have the extraordinary final opportunity to show growth in your skills.

Eve is currently interested in meeting actors of all types-all ages (18+). She has brought in and booked many AC actors for her projects.

EVE BATTAGLIA is best known for casting the Oscar nominated TRANSAMERICA. She is also the East Coast Casting Director for the prestigious Sundance Film Director's Lab.

Currently, Eve is casting TWO feature films one starring Patricia Arquette and the other starring Jeff Goldblum.

She just finished casting the indie feature MATCH starring Patrick Stewart and Carla Gugino and the feature film LULLABY starring Richard Jenkins, Jennifer Hudson and Amy Adams. One of her recent indie films Blue Caprice starring Isaiah Washington will be premiering at Sundance 2013.

Eve's recent projects include: How To Be A Man, Lucky N#mber, Away From Here, The Mortician and Alter Egos. Noted past projects include: Sorry Haters, Another Gay Movie, Home starring Marcia Gay Harden, The Last International Playboy, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Poker Club, Searching for Bobby D and many others.

Eve Battaglia

One of NY's top indie film casting directors, Eve is best known for casting the Oscar-nominatedTRANSAMERICA and was the US Casting Director for the hit Netflix series LILYHAMMER which starred Steve Van Zandt (Sopranos, E Street Band).

Her recent projects include: THE WINGERS, an indie with William Sadler which is in post-production.  Also in post:  RED CAMELLIA starring Douglas Smith (Big Love) and Carly Chaikin (Mr. Robot), and SALT & HONEY for director Amy Redford which wrapped this April and stars Anna Camp and Justin Chatwin.  Upcoming project:SEX WITH MAE WEST starring Jinkx Monsoon for her long-time director Todd Stephens.

One of her recent indie features SWAN SONG starring Udo Kier, Jennifer Coolidge and Michael Urie and directed by Todd Stephens is 92% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and up for a variety of awards. Eve was nominated for an Artios Award for SWAN SONG as well as two Indie Spirit awards.

Eve's past projects include: PROFESSOR MARSTON AND THE WONDER WOMEN which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. THE TRANSFIGURATION which premiered at Cannes in the prestigious Un Certain Regard section and was nominated for an Indie Spirit award.
