New! Film/TV Audition Intensive with "Emmy Award Winner" Mary Clay Boland, Casting Director, Boland Casting
6:30 pm - With years of experience casting for film and TV (former Head CD for As The World Turns), Emmy Award winning CD Mary Clay will be working with you this evening on what it takes to book roles in film and television.She will have received your headshots and resumes in advance and cast you in a scene which you will be emailed. That evening you'll start off with a Q & A, and then you'll be working on-camera with Mary Clay with a reader in a group format. Be prepared to take adjustments on the fly as she'll provide you with detailed feedback that will boost your skills for auditioning on-camera. If you're intent on landing roles in film and TV, this ONE NIGHT ONLY on-camera intensive is not to be missed!
Mary Clay is CURRENTLY CASTING the indie film "3 Months" produced by Jonathan Gray (The Station Agent) and is gearing up to cast the 2nd Season of the Adult Swim TV series "Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell". Recent projects include the feature films "Reservoir" and "FOUR!", the indie film "Tanlines" starring Josh Hopkins and AMC's "Life Coach" with Cheri Oteri.
She is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities 18+ for current and future projects and has called and BOOKED our AC actors!
For eight years, Mary Clay served as Head Casting Director for AS THE WORLD TURNS casting series regulars and dayplayers. During that time she received two Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Achievement for a Casting Director for a Drama Series and in 2005, Boland won this award. Past casting credits include the feature film-The Best Thief in the World starring Mary Louise Parker. Previously, Mary Clay worked for Warner Brothers TV on films and series including Everwood, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls and Witchblade. She also worked on the first two seasons of The Sopranos as the associate casting director with Walken/Jaffe Casting.Limited to 14 actors
