NEW! One Night Monologue Intensive with STEPHANIE KLAPPER, C.S.A., Casting Director, Stephanie Klapper Casting
The evening will start off with an informational Q&A followed by Stephanie working and coaching each actor on TWO contrasting, contemporary 1-2 minute monologues that you will have prepared in advance.
STEPHANIE KLAPPER is constantly casting for new theatre and film projects. Her work has been seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, internationally, on television, film, the internet, and heard on radio. The projects she has been involved with have won numerous awards including the Tony, OBIES, Artios, Pulitzer Prize winners/nominees, Sundance Audience Award, Cannes Prize Du Publique. and Comic Con awards. Selected recent Broadway and Off-Broadway: Dividing the Estate (2009 Tony Nomination); Happy Now?; The Temperamentals; The Cocktail Party; The Subject Was Roses; Hamlet; The Late Christopher Bean; A Lifetime Burning; King Lear; Incident at Vichy; A Dangerous Personality; King of Shadows; an oak tree (Artios award winner for NY production/LA production current), Indoor Outdoor. Resident casting director for Primary Stages, The Pearl Theater Company, New York Classical Theatre.
