7:00 pm - Did you know that Horror films are one of the most popular film genres being shot and produced today? Audiences flock to see them whether low budget or full Hollywood productions. Many of today's stars like Johnny Depp(A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Jamie Lee Curtis(Halloween) got their start in films that have led to HUGE Hollywood careers.

Now, here's your chance to explore working in this thrilling industry with one of NY's top casting directors, teaching YOU the skills necessary to break into this very exciting area of the business! Based upon your headshot and resume, you'll be emailed a horror/sci-fi scene to prepare which you will receive in advance. You'll start off the night with an informational intro session and some exercises to get in touch with your inner ghoul, and then Pamela will begin working with you on-camera, in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and adjustments. You'll finish off the evening with a quick Q&A and recap.

In the business for over twenty years, Pamela Kramer, (Casting Director and owner of Bradley Baron) casts for film and TV as well as hundreds of commercials, industrials, and voice-overs. Recent film casting includes the independent film, "Torture Chamber", scheduled for release in late 2011. Currently, she's in pre-production for TWO Horror films, a sci-fi/fantasy film called "Out of the Lantern" with award winning Director Peter Vinal and just finished casting for a new TV series called TAILGATE 48 on the Big 10 Network.

Some of Pamela's commercial clients include: Microsoft, Nokia, Merck, Sanofi-Aventis, ADP, Phfizer, Pepsi, Kraft, and Roche, Prudential, Panasonic, etc. In addition, she's cast several TV pilot's for VH1, MTV, History Channel, an integrated print and commercial campaign for Chubb, numerous national and regional commercials as well as 30 episodes of Comedy Central's hit TV series "Strangers with Candy."
