ON-CAMERA TV/FILM INTENSIVE with ERICA JENSEN Casting Director, Calleri Casting - Credits include Hulu's hit series THE PATH!

From one of the busiest casting offices in town - we welcome Erica back to AC!

For this intensive, Erica will select sides based on your HS/resume submission which you will receive and prepare 24-48 hours in advance. You'll work with Erica and a reader in a classroom setting ON-CAMERA in a group as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates her casting process. She will be giving you detailed feedback and adjustments and will also share her insight into auditioning for television and film in New York.

Erica is currently interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities(18+). An opportunity NOT TO BE MISSED!

ERICA JENSEN started as an intern at Playwrights Horizons where she met James Calleri. Seventeen years later, she is one of three casting directors at Calleri Casting, a multiple Artios award winning office where she's worked on projects in film, television, and theater. Erica spent the 2004 – 2005 television season as the Talent Coordinator on Chappelle's Show where she also did extras casting. She teaches on camera audition technique at various places throughout New York City and is a regular guest at Brown / Trinity Rep where she works with the third year MFA candidates in their last semester. She has also taught playwriting and screenwriting at RISD. Erica directed the musical, Mother Eve's Secret Garden of Sensual Sisterhood, which she also co-wrote and co-produced for the NYC Fringe Festival. She also won Best Director at the New York City 15 Minute Play Festival for her direction of the short play For Better or Worse. Erica holds an MFA in Acting from Illinois State University.

Past TV credits include: The Path, Army Wives, Lipstick Jungle, Z Rock on IFC, the critically acclaimed A Raisin in the Sun on ABC, also the hit series Ed, Hope & Faith, and Monk.

Past Film credits include: I Origins, Saint Janet, Another Earth, Refuge, Merchant Ivory's The City of Your Final Destination, Heights, and The White Countess, Yearbook, Lisa Picard is Famous, The Jimmy Show, Ready? OK!, Trouble Every Day, Peter & Vandy and Armless.
