Here's your opportunity to work with the top NY Casting Director whose recent highlights include working alongside Rachel Tenner on THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY directed by and starring Ben Stiller, serving as the Casting Director for 2014's THE HUMBLING starring Al Pacino and helmed by legendary Writer/Director/Producer Barry Levinson, and acting as the Associate Casting Director on both seasons of MARVEL'S DAREDEVIL, collaborating with Julie Schubert. She was also the casting associate on 2016's smash hit STRANGER THINGS. In 2015, Bess had the pleasure of working with the legendary Peter Bogdanovich on SHE'S FUNNY THAT WAY. Soon to be released projects include indie features WETLANDS, POTTERSVILLE, and THE LIGHT OF THE MOON (World Premiere SXSW 2017)

Sides will be available via your Actors Connection account upon registration. You'll work with Bess ON-CAMERA in a group as she coaches you through your scene in an audition format that replicates her casting process. She'll provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition tips so that you leave the class with a better understanding of the process and how to book the job.

As a seasoned independent casting director with over 10 years of experience, Bess Fifer has played a key role in shaping numerous careers across film, Broadway, and television.

Bess cut her teeth at New York's most in-demand casting office, Telsey + Company, where she worked on a diverse range of high-profile projects, such as SEX AND THE CITY: THE MOVIE, JONAH HEX, I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, RENT, IN THE HEIGHTS, and over 100 national commercials. After striking out on her own, Bess' keen eye for talent and professionalism have been consistently sought after. Bess Fifer currently resides in New York with her husband Mark, and their 4-legged children Jackson, Rufus, and Pete. When she's not on the clock casting the features ACCOMMODATIONS, CATCHING UP, and the parody 50 SHADES OF F****D UP, NOT DARKER AND NOT FREED, Bess can be found swinging kettlebells at her gym, listening to rap from the 90's, or brunching with her ladies.
