After another successful event in April, Actors Connection is thrilled to yet again work alongside The Little Theatre of Alexandria for another fantastic weekend focusing on Voiceover! The event includes SIX of NY's most noteworthy Voiceover Casting Directors, Agents, Directors and Producers who are excited to work with actors in the DC market!

Actors Connection and The Little Theatre of Alexandria developed a comprehensive program that provides the actor with an unparalleled opportunity to study, train and network in a focused, supportive environment.

Scheduled guests include: Animation Master Class with Paul Liberti Disney, Pixar, Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, MGM, WB, Fox Kids, PBS, 4 KidsAll studios have different styles of character work that they expect from their voiceover actors. So how do you know if your voices are spot on? Work with top Voiceover actor and teacher Paul Liberti where you'll explore different Animation with script reading from Classic films and TV shows to help you tap into auditions appropriate for various studios. You'll learn that Disney characters tend to have a ‘brighter sound' while Dreamworks likes an edgier vibe. Nickelodeon likes a very naturalistic approach for certain shows - while others sound like 1950s animation - where PBS has a different style approach altogether and much, much more. Paul has worked with and taught along side Casting Directors for several years and has insights to these studio's very specific requirements. Take your animation characters to the next level and discover more of what you have inside! Paul has booked hundreds of V/O spots and animated series including Pokemon, Blues Clues, Noggin's, Pinky Dinky Doo, Saturday Night Live Cartoons and Sesame Street.

AUDIO BOOKS - Author's Connection! with Paul Liberti Downloadable Audio Books are booming right now with more narrators needed every day. To compete in this very exciting field, you will need strong techniques and skills that can compete with seasoned narrators and celebrity narrators. Telling the AUTHOR'S version of the story is crucial yet you still need to find your own narration voice. This will truly prepare you for a new level in your professional Voiceover career. You will learn (1) Finding your own unique narrating style, (2) Contemporary techniques to connect to the listener, (3) How to prepare for your audio book records and demo, and so much more! Eileen Schellhorn, Agent, DDO Artists Eileen started the Voiceover Division in NY and LA at the already established DDO Artists Agency in October of 2016. She had been an agent at Innovative Artists for over 11 years. In between her agent positions she worked for a creative agency, cast for Voiceover projects, produced film and web series, voice directed and privately coached. She specializes in Voiceovers for television, radio, industrials, videogames, foreign language, promos, narration and animation. Currently, Eileen's clients voices can be heard in commercials for products such as Quilted Northern, Johnson & Johnson, Academy Sports & Outdoors, Booking.com, Advil, Pitney Bowes, Ancestry, Rooms to Go, Xyzal, MiO, Ubisoft, and many, many more. Eileen is currently looking for new talent to add to her roster!

Rebecca Yarsin, Casting Director, House Casting From on of the busiest casting offices in NYC, Rebecca will help you understand your type, perception and where you fit in today's commercial V/O market. Rebecca casts national and regional commercials (both on-camera and V/O) and industrials as well as hosts for TV entertainment programs. Formerly a theatrical CD and stage manager for Broadway and Off-Broadway, she really has an eye for talent and loves trained actors! He will help you develop that crucial catalogue of characters from arch villains to super heroes with a great workout in the booth. As a professional Voiceover and on-camera commercial and corporate producer and director for 15 years, he has produced and directed spots, promos and corporate campaigns for clients such as Foot Locker, Bloomberg, Wal-Mart, Avastin, AMC, Bloomberg, MTV, The NBA and many, many more. Bryant coaches and records for some of the top names in the Voiceover industry, including Steve Kamer (Inside Edition), Aaron May (NBC Sports) and Steve Zirinkilton (Law & Order). With his company, Abacus Audio he has crafted over 1000 of the industry's highest quality and unique demos.

Angela Mickey, CD/Managing Director, Liz Lewis Angela is the Managing Director of Casting for Liz Lewis Casting Partners and has been at this powerhouse office for 16 years casting on-camera commercials, V/O's, TV, Film, and theater. Recent commercial/VO projects include: Truvia, Comcast, Verizon Fios, MTV, Plavix, Lowes, Victoria's Secret, Rockband 2, All Bran, Toyota, Holiday Inn Express, and many promos for Comedy Central.
