THEATER INTENSIVE with Lauren Port, Casting Director, Caparelliotis Casting

Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 7pm ET / 4pm PT

We're thrilled to welcome Lauren who casts with David Caparelliotis for Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater as well as film and TV.

Based on your HS/resume submission, she will select sides which you will be emailed and are to prepare in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A, then she'll be working with you and a reader in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and adjustments.

Lauren is always interested in meeting new talent - all types - all ethnicities -all ages (18+).

Lauren has been at Caparelliotis Casting since May of 2009. Upcoming Broadway: Junk and Meteor Shower. Current Broadway: A Doll's House Part 2. Past Broadway includes: The Glass Menagerie, The Front Page, Blackbird, It's Only a Play, Disgraced, Fish in the Dark, Holler If Ya Hear Me, The Trip to Bountiful, Grace, Dead Accounts, Orphans, Death of a Salesman, Seminar, Stick Fly, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, The House of Blue Leaves, Lend Me a Tenor, and Fences. In NYC, Caparelliotis Casting also casts for: MTC, Signature, Atlantic, LCT3, and Ars Nova. Regional work includes: The Old Globe, Steppenwolf, The Goodman, Arena Stage, ART, ACT, and The Williamstown Theatre Festival (3 seasons). Film/TV: "American Odyssey" (NBC), "How to Get Away with Murder" (ABC, pilot), "Ironside" (NBC), "Steel Magnolias" (Sony for Lifetime), and HairBrained (starring Brendan Frasier).
