HOSTING AUDITION INTENSIVE with Lisa Fischoff, Casting Director, Broadcasters

2pm. Interested in being a TV Host? Here's a great way to start learning about the process of auditioning for on-camera Hosting.

In today's intensive, Top NY Casting Director Lisa Fischoff will cover getting started and auditioning by using host copy from some of her recent projects. She'll give you specific feedback on your performance and do playbacks of your reads. Lisa will review what needs to be improved, as well as the positive traits that would help you fit into this exciting market. Cue cards will also be provided in this session to help you focus your on-camera hosting technique.

Lisa Fischoff is the co-founder of Broadcasters, one of the busiest commercial casting offices in NYC. After working at Liz Lewis Casting Partners for many years, Lisa left to start Broadcasters in 2005. Since then, Broadcasters has grown to incorporate the world of hosting into their casting business. She has cast for hosts for clients such as Prada, People magazine (People.com), Sports Illustrated (Sports Illustrated.com), Host for the Heisman Trophy Big Ten Tour and for the new spokesperson for Newtons (formerly Fig Newtons), just to name a few.

Lisa, who for many years is known in the commercial world as one of the top voice over and on camera casting directors, has embraced the hosting world. She has studied the craft of finding what makes a good host and how the audition process for this medium differs from other styles of auditioning.
