FEATURE FILM/TV Intensive with Rachel Goldman, Barden/Schnee Casting

Congratulations to Barden/Schnee on this year's Academy Award for Best Picture for SPOTLIGHT!

Current credits include: Good Girls Revolt (Amazon), Girlboss (Netflix), Hand of God (Amazon), Wayward Pines (FOX) and multiple indie films.

For this one night intensive, Rachel will select sides based on your picture and resume which you will be emailed and prepare 1-2 days in advance. She will start off with an informative Q & A followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader ON-CAMERA in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

Rachel graduated with a BA in Theatre and Telecommunications from Indiana University in 2013. After graduating, she moved to NYC for an internship at McCorkle Casting. Upon completing the internship, Rachel was hired full-time at McCorkle where she worked for two years. From there she was hired full-time at Barden/Schnee Casting and has collaborated on various works so far including Good Girls Revolt (Amazon), Girlboss (Netflix), and multiple independent films. As an office, Barden/Schnee Casting is responsible for casting Spotlight, August:Osage County, Pitch Perfect, Dallas Buyers Club, The Help, Winter's Bone, Still Alice, among many others.

Currently, Rachel is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities 18+ for current and future projects.

Rachel is the Associate Casting Director at Barden/Schnee Casting and has worked there for over 6 years.  

While at Barden/Schnee, Rachel has collaborated on a variety of works including Alaska Daily (ABC), Honor Society (Paramount+), Breaking, Stillwater, Worth (Netflix), Sylvie’s Love (Amazon Prime), Filthy Rich (FOX), Shirley (NEON/Hulu), Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made (Disney+), Palmer (AppleTV+), Clemency (Sundance 2019 Grand Jury Prize winner), Buffaloed, Virgin River (Netflix), Ma (Blumhouse), Bonding (Netflix), The Upside (STX), Leave No Trace (Directed by Debra Granik of Winter's Bone), The Last O.G. (TBS), Book Club (Paramount), Good Girls Revolt (Amazon), Girlboss (Netflix), Pitch Perfect 3 (Universal), and many more.
