Congrats to Matt who recently joined the POWERHOUSE Casting Duo of Meghan Rafferty and Mia Cusumano to work on the upcoming series FALLING WATER picked up by USA.

For this one night intensive, Matt will select sides based on your picture and resume which you will be emailed and prepare 1-2 days in advance. He will start off with an informative Q & A followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader ON-CAMERA in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

Matt graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University in 2012. After graduating, he was an intern in the casting department at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Upon completing his internship in Chicago, he moved to NYC and interned with Telsey+Co., and Manhattan Theatre Club. He then became a full-time assistant to two legit agents at Innovative Artists. From there he was hired as the full time NY assistant at Barden/Schnee Casting and has collaborated on various works which include this years Academy Award Winner for Best Picture Spotlight, Jessica Jones for Netflix, The INTERESTINGS (pilot), Good Girls Revolt (pilot), The Girl on the Train (upcoming), Wayward Pines Season 2 (upcoming) among many others. As an office, Barden/Schnee Casting is responsible for casting Dallas Buyers Club, The Help, Winter's Bone, Still Alice and The Judge.

Currently, Matt is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities 18+ for current and future projects.

Matthew Glasner

Since working in casting full-time, Matthew has had the privilege of being on the casting team for Film Projects such as the Academy-Award Winning Film, ‘Spotlight’, Wes Anderson’s ’The French Dispatch’, M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Old’ and upcoming ‘Knock at the Cabin’, and the newly released ‘Armageddon Time’ and upcoming Noah Baumbach Film, ‘White Noise’.

On the TV side, Matthew has collaborated on HBOMax’s ‘The Staircase’ & ‘Scenes from a Marriage’, Amazon’s ‘Outer Range’, Seasons 2-4 of ‘Servant’ and Seasons 2-4 of 'The Sinner'.

When working independently, Matthew has cast numerous Short Films and full-length features: ‘Braid' (TriBeCa Film Festival 2018), ’Safe’ (Short) (Cannes 2021), 'Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate', and ‘Milkwater' starring Molly Bernard.
