This 2 week on-camera class is not to be missed if you are looking to book roles in episodic television at the Network Level.

In 2 weeks you'll enhance your on-camera audition technique specific to television as well as delving into the business side of what TRULY goes on before, during and after a casting session at Network. Whether you're auditioning for a 1/2 hour comedy or a 1 hour drama, this class will teach you the things you need to know that can help you get the call-back and then book the job.

Having received your headshots and resumes in advance, Maria will cast you in a scene which will be emailed to you 24-48 hours in advance. The first week you will be working on 1/2 hour comedic material and week #2, 1 hour episodic. You'll start off the night with a Q&A, and then Maria will begin working with you as the reader ON CAMERA in a group format. This class is an extraordinary opportunity to work with an amazing CD who has TONS of inside information about what TRULY goes on, and she is ready to share it with you!

Maria has been Casting Coordinator at FOX since 2011, working on all year-round programming for the network. Recent projects include the series Minority Report, The Frankenstein Code, The Guide to Life and Rosewood. While at FOX, Maria has also worked on hit series Empire, The Last Man on Earth, Wayward Pines, 24: Live Another Day, and Brooklyn 99, among others. Prior to joining the FOX network Maria was an independent casting director on numerous projects with the Columbia University MFA program, and was Casting Associate at Tucker/Meyerson casting where she worked on such projects as Rescue Me, Damages, Fringe, and Nurse Jackie. Before her work in casting Maria started as an agent's assistant at The Gersh Agency.

Currently, she's interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities 18+.

Maria Hubbard

Maria Hubbard is a NYC-based acting coach and teacher whose clients are booking roles in all mediums - from guest star, recurring and series regular roles in cable, streaming and network TV, as well as independent film and theater. She specializes in working with actors in all stages of their career - from audition prep to on-set acting coach, Maria encourages actors to be confident in their choices and provides insights so they can deliver their best work. She currently serves as an Adjunct with Pace Performing Arts Film & TV Program and is a frequent guest advisor with NYU Grad Acting.

Maria's experiences in casting - including her years at the FOX network, as well as her years as an independent casting director and casting associate - in addition to her years as an agent's assistant at The Gersh Agency, offer her a unique perspective that makes her a sought after guest lecturer at undergrad and MFA programs across the country.
