From one of the busiest TV/film casting offices in NYC, Julie currently casts for The Expanse, The Affair, Limitless, Sneaky Pete and many others! She has also cast numerous pilots along with covering NY for studios. Her office is gearing up for an extremely busy Pilot Season.

This new intensive is a crash course geared to help you audition at your best for pilots. Julie will walk you through the process from going on tape, to producer and finally to network tests. Sharing with you vital information based on her years of casting experience, you'll also learn audition techniques that will focus on pilots but are applicable to all TV auditions. Whether you're auditioning for an episodic or pilot, this class will help you know what to do when you walk in the room and is the perfect opportunity to practice all you know already.

Julie and her teaching partner, Ed Needham, will select sides based on your HS/resume submission which you will be emailed and prepare ONE DAY in advance. You'll start off with mock pilot auditions working on-camera with Julie and Ed using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take adjustments on the fly. The intensive will finish with a discussion of the process followed by Q&A.

Please note: While this intensive is on-camera, your work will NOT be recorded per Julie's request.

This intensive is based on approval but open to old and new students who have strong credits (strong theater resume and or some TV credits) or those who have recently graduated from an accredited training program - all types and ethnicities 18+ for her numerous upcoming projects.

Julie is a Two Time Emmy Winner and seven-time nominee. She has been recognized with five Artios Awards and has been nominated over a dozen times.

Current/recent projects include: Hunters (Amazon), Designated Survivor (Netflix), The Affair (Showtime), The Expanse (Amazon), Lincoln (NBC), and The Baker and The Beauty (ABC).  Past Projects include: ERASE, TELL ME A STORY, SNEAKY PETE, THE VILLAGE, LIMITLESS, THE FOLLOWING, WHITE COLLAR, DAMAGES, NURSE JACKIE, RESCUE ME, BIG C, IN TREATMENT, THE AMERICANS, TRUE BLOOD, HOMELAND, DEXTER and many more. Prior to starting Tucker/Meyerson Casting, Julie cast LAW & ORDER: SVU, SIX FEET UNDER (NY Casting) and DEADWOOD (NY Casting). Julie was on staff at the Roundabout Theater as a Casting Director working on A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE with Allison Janney, A FLEA IN HER EAR directed by Bill Irwin, and the world premiere of IMPOSSIBLE MARRIAGE with Holly Hunter. Her other theater credits include casting for Williamstown Theatre Festival, Manhattan Theatre Club, and The Vineyard. Prior to casting, Julie directed Off-Broadway and assisted directors Terrence Malick and Martin Charnin.
