Monday, January 4, 2016, 7pm ET / 4pm PT

This event is in the past.

Here's your chance to work for four weeks on-camera with this top NY CD who has worked on FOUR Academy Award winning films: The Blind Side, The Descendants, Moneyball and Argo.

Susanne is currently casting for a new TV series, an independent film and just worked as Ellen's associate on the Coen Brothers next feature film "Hail, Caesar!" The cast has over 70 roles and includes George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton & Scarlet Johansson. Her most recently released film; The Normal Heart received 18 Emmy Nominations including one for casting and a Casting Society of America (CSA) Artios Nomination for Susanne as the associate and Amanda Mackey and Cathy Sandrich Gelfond as the Casting Directors.

Each week will build on the last and all sessions will be on-camera. The course will start off with prepared sides so that Susanne can get a "feel" for your type as well as an opportunity to focus on each actor's individual on-camera habits and how this could affect your audition. From there, she will focus on both cold and prepared sides including feature and indie films as well as television sides.

You will also self-tape and submit to see how well you are coming across to casting directors who you don't know you as an actor.

Susanne has been working in Film, Television, Commercial and Theatrical casting for over 6 years. She has worked with notable casting directors such as Avy Kaufman, Francine Maisler, Lora Kennedy, Cathy Sandrich Gelfond, Amanda Mackey, Joseph Middleton and Tracy "Twinkie" Bryd and currently works with Ellen Chenoweth.

Susanne recently finished her 2nd indie feature entitled Folk Hero and Funny Guy starring Alex Karpovsky (Girls, Inside Llewyn Davis), Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street & That's What I'm Talking About,Richard Linklater's follow-up film to Boyhood), Hannah Simone (New Girl), Michael Ian Black and Melanie Lynskey.

In 2013, Susanne also joined the creative team as Casting Director of the independent stage production of Point Break Live! This stage parody of the 1991 beloved film holds the record of Los Angeles' longest running stage show having been in production for over eight years. It has also been in production in Seattle for over three years. The NY production launched August 2nd, 2013 and has sold out over 20 shows to date and more shows are added every month.
