New! ALL DAY On-Camera Television Audition Technique with Erin Darke, Casting Director/Acting Coach

This all day on-camera intensive, where you will work MULTIPLE times on camera, introduces you to some of the many challenges facing an actor (both established and novice) working in film and television today. Erin is committed to creating a truly honest and safe environment where each actor will have the freedom to learn rather than just trying to impress!

The morning session will commence with an in-depth Q&A about the reality of TODAY's market and what the Industry is currently looking for. Erin will run a series of "mock" auditions where each actor comes in individually, "auditions" and then watch back as a class. She will discuss what stands out and what works when you only have a few lines. These dayplayer/costar roles for FILM and TELEVISION will be emailed to you in advance to prepare. As most working actors know, small roles and one liners are often the most difficult to audition for, yet a necessity when building your resume. Go behind the casting process for these smaller roles and Erin has some tips and strategies to help you! This alone is an INVALUABLE opportunity for actors wanting to gain the SKILLS to help you obtain more feature film and television credits.

After lunch, Erin will continue working with you on larger roles that you have received in advance. This will also be a great "guide" in the material Erin give you as to whether or not your current HS/resume represents you well. You'll again work ON-CAMERA as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates the true casting process. She will provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition "must knows" that she feels are imperative to book roles on a professional level.

Through out the day, Erin will address ALL of your business related questions including the casting process, resumes, headshots, materials, audition protocol and etiquette and much more!

With her years of experience both as an actress and in casting, Erin will help you take your work and your business savvy to the next level.

Erin's recent casting credits include: THREE Feature films, the hit NBC series THE BLACKLIST as well as the CBS series PERSON OF INTEREST, THE WANNABE and the NY casting on Ivan Reitman's DRAFT DAY. Credits include the films NOAH, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN, THE PAPERBOY, THE ENGLISH TEACHER, DISCONNECT, LOLA VS, YOUNG ADULT, DRAFT DAY and LABOR DAY among others. For TV she has worked on the series PAN AM and several pilots including THE CARRIE DIARIES and 666 PARK AVE.
