ACTING FOR FILM & TV: The Super Four - 4 Week On-Camera Class with Dani Super, CD/Producer/Audition and On Set Coach, Dani Super Casting

2pm. In this 4 Week on-camera class, you'll work with top NY CD Dani Super on 4 genres that Film/TV actors encounter in auditions and on-set.

For all four classes, you'll be shooting scenes with a reader to view in class with extensive feedback. Dani will cover the unique elements that each genre poses to the actor and the ways to improve your performance.

Your first week will start off with Sitcom material. Dani will work with you on pacing, proximity and "how to find the funny" for television. The second week, Dani will cover One-Hour Dramas going over elements such as heightened stakes and keeping things conversational. In your third week, you'll work on Dramatic Features adjusting the size of your performance to be more film friendly. In your final week, Dani will work with you on Comedy Features and how to adjust your performance for film while maintaining pace, character and comedic timing.

Throughout the course, Dani will also cover working with a reader, script analysis and some of the challenges of working on set. You'll gain a better understanding of these FOUR genres and how to approach them for future auditions.

Having worked as a talent agent, casting director, producer, coach and professor, Dani brings years of valuable industry experience and a well balanced perspective to all her film, television and theatre projects.

Having worked as a talent manager, agent, casting director, producer, coach and professor, Dani brings years of valuable industry experience and a well balanced perspective to all her film, television and theatre projects.

Dani Super is a partner/owner at Kreindler-Super Management. Kreindler-Super Management is a boutique management company representing a select group of actors. She additionally has a consulting business that currently coaches a small number of clients on set as well as on craft and the business of acting. In the decades prior to partnering with Scotty Kreindler and forming Kreindler-Super Management, she worked as an agent at Alliance Talent, as a casting director at Pat McCorkle Casting and a producer with Island Girls Productions. Additionally she has been on staff in the drama departments of Pace University and NYU/Stella Adler. She has taught on-camera at TVI, Capes Coaching and The Actors Center in London.
