One of our favorite guests in Los Angeles, Lauren and partner Jordan have established bass/casting as a bi-coastal powerhouse! She has worked extensively in the business in features, television, and new media. She knows what it takes to book a role in any medium.

Lauren will have received your headshots and resumes in advance and cast you in a scene which you will receive in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A and then Lauren will begin working with you as the reader ON CAMERA in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and to take adjustments on the fly. Lauren's recent credits include the features ANNABELLE for New Line, SUMMER CAMP for Lionsgate, Chris Sparling's THE ATTICUS INSTITUTE, THE UNTITLED MARK L. SMITH project directed by The Goetz Bros, Sean Nalaboff's HARD SELL and Ryan Schwartz's STILL LIFE as well as the digital series "The Temp Agency" for Michael Eisener's Vuguru and "Suit Up" for Fox/DirecTV. Other credits include The Last Exorcism, produced by Eli Roth, My Eleventh, produced by Bryan Singer, Joel Schumacher's Twelve, the Starz hit series "Spartacus" and the HDNet hit comedy series "Svetlana". bass/casting is a bi-coastal office that currently has 5 indie features in pre-production. Prior to starting bass/casting, she worked with the legendary Mali Finn, (Titanic, The Matrix Trilogy, LA Confidential, 10,000 BC) on films like The Assassination of Jesse James..., The Number 23 and Avatar and at Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer, one of the busiest television offices where she worked on "Everwood", "Jack & Bobby", "CSI" and "Book of Daniel".

Lauren Bass

Lauren began her casting career working for one of LA's top TV casting offices, Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer, where she worked on such hit shows as CSI, Jack & Bobby and Everwood. She then went to work  for one of the most respected feature film casting directors in the business, Mali Finn.  With Mali, Lauren cast such notable films as The Assassination of Jesse James, Shooter, and Avatar. Following Mali's retirement, Lauren partnered with her brother, Jordan, to open bass/casting - a bicoastal casting & production company - that specializes in ensemble casting across film, TV and new media.

Recent films include: Taylor Sheridan's Wind River starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, Izzy Gets the F*ck Across Town starring Mackenzie Davis, Carrie Coon, Haley Joel Osment and Alia Shawkat, Brampton's Own starring Alex Russell, Jean Smart & Rose McIver, and Richard Tanne's Chemical Hearts starring Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams for Amazon
