After RAVE reviews on his past classes, we're thrilled to have Matt back in teaching this Advanced class at AC!

Over the 3 week course, Matt will be concentrating on tv and radio commercials as well as narrative, audiobook and industrial reads. He will primarily focus on script analysis and getting to know your own unique voice and your best reads, and how to "find yourself" in the copy. He will also work on reading with and off of other actors, acquiring the skills to quickly problem solve confusing copy/contradictory direction and other common issues that actors will face in voiceover auditions.

Matt Smith has been with Paradigm's voiceover department for the past seven years. He spent two years as an assistant and the last five as an agent. Matt works with various casting directors and also runs all in-house commercial auditions at the agency. Before coming to Paradigm, he worked as a casting associate in Boston at Maura Tighe Casting. Extremely insightful and truly giving, his current client bookings include Sprint, Michelin, Sears, BMW, and Vicks to name a few. Matt is also an up-and-coming stand-up comedian who has appeared at various clubs throughout the city including Caroline's, Stand Up NY, and Broadway Comedy Club.
